Welcome to the baby and toddler environment at People's Church. We at Kids'Street are dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment, as well as a time of learning where children of all ages are introduced to the amazing love of Jesus.

Our vision and desire is to combine the critical influences of the church and home to incite wonder, provoke discovery and fuel passion in the hearts of our next generation of world changers. Through engaging activities, Bible verse memorization, Orange curriculum lessons, prayer and worship, we encourage your child to grow deeper and closer to our amazing Lord and Savior in such a tangible way.

We understand and value the importance of the nursery ministry. We will take every opportunity to lay a foundation of moral behavior that will be with them for the rest of their lives. We know the smaller the heart, the greater the impression!

Kids'Street nursery is available during each weekend service and Wednesday nights if you are involved in a Home Group and special events.

FAQ's:

How old does my child have to be to start attending the nursery?

Our recommendation is that your child be at least six weeks old prior to bringing him or her to the Kids'Street Nursery.

There are nursing mother rooms located in the back south east corner of the adult sanctuary as well as in the Kids'Street hallway.

What do I need to bring?

Bring a diaper bag and bottle with your child's name on it. Please bring any comfort item such as a pacifier or baby blanket along with a change of clothes.

Is there a check-in process?

It is our priority to make every reasonable effort to ensure a safe and healthy environment for your child. To do this, we use a security tag system. When you check your child in, you are given a 2-part tag with a specific number on it. The child portion is to be placed on the outside of their clothing in a visible place. Please include any information we might need to know about your child such as potty training needs, food allergies, nursing and bottle feeding times, etc. When you come to get your child, the teachers will ensure the child and parent tags have matching numbers before allowing anyone to remove him or her from the classroom. If you lose a portion of the tag system, please see Tawny or Rachel for help.

Are visitors allowed in the room?

Only nursery volunteers who are on duty that Sunday are allowed in the nursery classrooms at all times. If you would like to tour the facility, we can do that anytime during the week. Our Kids'Cam is located in the Nursing room of the Kids'Street hallway. You may view your child's classroom at anytime. You may also view the following website from your Ipad during service to check on your child as well.

How does Kids'Street keep parents involved in their child's experience at church?

We believe the best way for parents to be involved in what their child is learning is to become a part of the team that teaches your child. Each week, volunteers do everything from greeting families to teaching and leading kids in worship. Each week there is a parent cue card that is sent home with your child. This card contains our memory verse, bottom line and the weekly bible story.

How do I volunteer to serve?

At Kids'Street, we believe the greatest investment we can make is in the next generation. That is why we feel that our volunteer base for Kids'Street is one of the most important. We believe the best way to guide our children is to surround them with great examples to follow.

Our volunteers are what makes Kids'Street successful. They strive with passion to raise up a generation that loves Jesus and the Church.

Our volunteers serve on a six-week rotation schedule. There are 2 volunteers per room.

If you would like to serve Jesus by loving and teaching these precious kiddos, please contact the nursery director, Tawny Allen or click here

I am excited about the opportunity to serve you and your child. My goal is to give you a peace of mind to freely worship our Jesus knowing that your child is being well taken care of. I can't wait to meet you. I will be at the Check-In desk Sunday morning! If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me!
